Stanford is a quaint, riverside village in the Overberg region near Hermanus; 30-minutes from Hermanus and a two-hour drive from Cape Town. The village is a Heritage Site known for its beautifully preserved and renovated Cape Victorian and Edwardian-styled houses and buildings. Located on the Klein River, the paddling is safe, flat and scenic. The Lady Stanford offers rentals of Vagabond’s double-seater Mazowe and the single-seater Kasai kayaks for half-day rental (full morning or full afternoon).
