Our Vagabond backrest is rotomoulded to be strong and durable. It has been designed for our sit-on-top kayaks, the Tsomo, Tarka, Kasai, Marimba and double-seater Mazowe.
The backrest is attached to the deck, behind the seat, using the multifits and cliprings. The necessary straps are on the backrest.
The backrest has a rear recess into which a pouch fits. A clip secures the pouch. The pouch can be completely removed to be filled with items or carried with you. The pouch is not waterproof.
Backrests are not used at all on the Dumbi surfkayak or Usutu whitewater sit-on-top where you need to be able to move backwards and in all directions.
